The Person Behind PSS.

“Sustainable improvement doesn’t come from a report and a handshake. It comes from embedding the right engineering, the right process discipline and the right measurement into a site — so the gains hold after the project ends.”

PSS was founded by Syed Waqas Hussaini, a Process & Chemical Engineer and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with 7+ years of experience in safety-critical manufacturing environments.

His background spans chemical production, freelance process consulting in oil & gas (Dubai/UAE), engineering placements across automotive and industrial manufacturing in Germany, laboratory and analytical equipment work, and earlier production and pharmaceutical roles in Pakistan.

He holds an M.Sc. in Chemical & Energy Engineering from Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg and a B.Eng. from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, alongside certifications including TÜV QMB, IPMA Level D, GMP/GMP Annex 1, RBPS and SAP ERP/EWM/MM.

Do you only consult, or do you also implement?

PSS is built for implementation, not just recommendations — support runs from problem definition through to coordinating the fix on the shop floor and sustaining it afterward.

Do you work remotely, on-site, or both?

Both. Diagnostic and coordination work can happen remotely, but production problems are ultimately solved on the floor — site visits are used wherever hands-on engineering or Gemba-based root cause work is needed.
